The Oak at Agate Ridge 

After painting “The Vineyard Path” the owner saw one of the photos I had used to make the composite painting.  She requested another oil painting of just that one photo.  This painting was the result.  This oak tree is a venerable majestic tree that spreads its limbs over a small portion of the vineyard.  I loved that way Mt. McLaughlin showed through the boughs.  This painting is hanging in the tasting room of the Agate Ridge Vineyard in Eagle Point, Oregon.
