Someday It’s Mine

The idea for this painting came when I saw a soap advertisement from a 1960’s magazine.  The boy looked so proud of his rumpled, dirty condition that I could just picture the same attitude as he stood in front of a ranch that would “someday” be his. The ranch was inspired by an Eastern Oregon site.
