Simply Birch Leaves

I was looking for a very simple composition and the formation of these birch leaves caught my eye.  I almost think there is an Oriental feel to this painting.  The leaves appear so luminous due to the many, many glazes I layered over them.  I made the background very dark to showcase the backlit leaves.
