Going to Help Daddy

My grandson was the model for this picture. I had provided him with his daddy’s boots to play with. As he happily attempted to put on the oversized boots, I snapped dozens of pictures.  When it came time to compose a picture, I could just imagine a 4 year old bringing his daddy’s boots to the barn to ‘help’ him.  The setting is my hometown of Jacksonville, Oregon and showcases the beautiful scenery in this part of the country. It is a watercolor, with many glazes contributing to the luminosity of the colors.
