Desert Donkey

This winsome little burro has provided many photographs for me to paint from.  Our neighbors had adopted two burros from the BLM sale of wild burros rescued from the Nevada area. Their offspring was very  photogenic, although not so likable at 4am when he would awaken all of us with his frantic braying for his mother.
