Click on image to enlarge Coyote Meadow This oil painting was inspired by my many trips to the deserts of Arizona. I love the brilliance of the prickly pear blooms. Meanwhile, I adore watching the ruby throated hummers cluster around my feeder. I decided to incorporate both brilliant jewels into one painting. This painting won People’s Choice Award at the Western Art Show in Death Valley 2008.
